Entrance Fees and Passes

Great Basin National Park has no entrance fee. There is a fee for Lehman Caves Tours, for camping in the developed campgrounds and for the trail dump sites. Annual passes, such as the America the Beautiful Pass- The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass, do not cover cave tour, campground, or dump station fees. Holders of Golden Age and Golden Access Passes receive a discount on cave tours and campground fees but not on dump station fees.

Great Basin Visitor Center

This is the main park visitor center, and it is located just north of Baker on the west side of the highway. An information desk, exhibits, a theater, and bookstore will help you get started on your exploration of the park. The visitor center is open daily during the spring, summer, and fall, and is closed in winter. 775-234-7331 x 7520.

Lehman Caves Visitor Center

Located at the end of the park entrance road, 5.3 miles west of Baker, this is the place to make reservations for guided tours of Lehman Caves. There are also exhibits, an information desk, a bookstore, and a nature trail. 775-234-7331 x 7510.

Western National Parks Association Bookstores

WNPA operates bookstores in both park visitor centers, featuring books, maps, and other publications on the park and the Great Basin. They are open during regular visitor center hours. www.wnpa.org, grba@wnpa.org, 775-234-7519
